Meet The Teachers
Melanie Bodnar
Melanie Bodnar grew up near St. Paul, Alberta. Her love of piano began as a student at the age of 7, while learning through the Suzuki method. In 2004 Melanie obtained a Bachelor of Music degree in Piano Performance from the University of Lethbridge. She also holds a Bachelor of Education degree with an Elementary Specialization from The King's University College in Edmonton. Melanie began teaching in Edmonton, but her growing family and country roots drew her to leave the city, moving to an acreage west of Stony Plain. Melanie teaches in her home studio, offering lessons in the Suzuki Method to families living west of Edmonton. Melanie will be on leave for the 2024-2025 school year.
