Upon registration with Edmonton Suzuki Piano School (ESPS), parents become participating members of this non-profit charitable society. More information about Edmonton Suzuki Piano School and its programs can be found at www.edmontonsuzukipiano.ca.
1. Edmonton Suzuki Piano School provides individual and group programming to students, along with enrichment and performance opportunities through recitals, concerts and special events.
2. The program consists of 37 weeks of individual lessons as well as periodic group lesson programming during the school term. Both are important for your child's music education. It is expected that a student will attend both individual and group lessons.
3. If the student is absent from a lesson, there is no refund for that missed lesson, and the lesson will not be rescheduled. If a teacher must cancel a lesson, they will reschedule by June of the current year or arrange for a refund by the end of the term.
4. A $45 fee will be applied to each NSF or declined debit transaction.
5. Each family is obligated to provide volunteer service to ESPS. Families will be notified of volunteer opportunities via online sign-ups throughout the school term. Once a family has scheduled and completed one volunteer shift, their volunteer commitment is complete. If a family does not schedule and complete one volunteer shift, their pre-authorized payment will be processed as a donation to ESPS. A tax-deductible donation of $200 can also be made in lieu of volunteering.
6. Withdrawal from ESPS program: Once processed, registration fees will not be refunded. Should it be necessary to withdraw from the program, a family must provide their teacher a 30-day notice of withdrawal, in writing, or there will be a forfeit of one month's tuition fees.
7. Due to the high demand for teachers at ESPS, families must ensure that their registration is received by the deadline of May 17, 2024 to confirm their lesson slot. Teachers are not obligated to save a lesson slot for a family if a completed registration package has not been received by May 17, 2024. After that date, teachers have the option of reallocating lesson spaces to new families.
Audio/Visual Release
I grant permission for Edmonton Suzuki Piano School (ESPS), to take and use visual or audio images of my children. I agree that ESPS owns the images and all rights related to them. The images may be used on the ESPS website, publications, social media, promotions, or broadcasts. I release ESPS and its contractors from any claims, damages, or liability which I might have about taking or use of these images.

1. Registration Fees for Returning Families:
Pre-Authorized Debit - To be withdrawn on August 1, 2024, or on the first of the subsequent month if submitted after August 1, 2024).
1 student: $180
2 students: $285
3 or more students: $385
2. Tuition Fees:
30-minute lessons: $1184 (payable in 10 monthly payments of $118.40 per student on the first of each month September 2024 - June 2025)
45-minute lessons: $1776 (payable in 10 monthly payments of $177.60 per student on the first of each month September 2024 - June 2025)
60-minute lessons: $2368 (payable in 10 monthly payments of $236.80 per student on the first of each month September 2024 - June 2025)
Other: 15 minute lessons: $592 (payable in 10 monthly payments of $59.20 per student on the first of each month from September 2024 - June 2025)

Volunteer Requirements

Each family is obligated to provide volunteer service to ESPS. Families can volunteer at an ESPS special event. Additionally, some families may volunteer by completing a special project or serving on the Board of Directors.
Families will be notified of volunteer opportunities via email and online sign-ups throughout the school term. Once families have scheduled and completed one volunteer shift, their volunteer commitment is complete. If a family does not schedule and complete a volunteer shift by June 20, 2025, a donation will be processed through pre-authorized payment on July 1, 2025. For those who know they will not be able to volunteer, a donation can be made in lieu of volunteering. Edmonton Suzuki Piano School is a registered charity and all donations are tax-deductible.
